If you know me well then you that I am pretty budget savvy. I prefer to say that rather than cheap or thrifty. There’s a big difference. I shared one of my favorite apps with a pal at lunch the other day (Chelsea she is kind of awesome) and realized that I have never really shared some of my money-saving techniques! I have a few easy ones for you today so if you aren’t using them, give one a try! I’m extremely busy so my techniques are super time-friendly!
- Cartwheel App at Target. If you love Target, then I’m sure you are already riding this train! But if you haven’t used it, it is soooooo easy! I just scan my items while I’m in line, then the cashier only has to scan ONE bar code for all the items I added. Target brand stuff is almost always on there, so we get major savings there. I have saved nearly $200 on Cartwheel so far!

Credit Card Points. I’m a huge fan of credit cards with rewards! I’m able to buy gift cards for christmas and sometimes I do cash back for my credit card points. I always swipe my card, then pay it off rather than budget via cash.

Ibotta App. This one takes me a minute or two longer than I would like, but it is VERY easy! After the grocery trip I scan any items listed on the app, verify the receipt, and boom they give you rebates! So much easier than a snail mail rebate! I have already made about $20…. I’m super happy with that considering I don’t use it as much as I should.

Old fashioned paper coupons. Ok, I used to really be great with these, I had a binder and everything. But after Gracie that extra time went out the window. So now I still grab a few every now and then for things that we already buy……like snacks for Gracie hehe!
