I am SO excited to share this wedding with you today. Shelby & Michael’s Chesapeake wedding was just so beautiful and FUN. Sunflowers! Classic cars! A family farm! This wedding had it all, and I loved being a part of their day.

There are just so many things to love about Shelby & Michael’s wedding, but my favorite thing is how involved their family and friends were throughout the day. The wedding held on Shelby’s Pop Pop’s farm in Chesapeake and the ceremony backdrop was an amazing red barn on the property. The girls got ready at the mother-of-the-bride’s best friend’s hair studio and got dressed back at the farm. A family friend baked their cake. The videographer is a friend of the groom’s. I love it when friends and families come together to put on an amazing wedding and Shelby & Michael’s families, and friends are such a fun, sweet, and welcoming group.  They even got the bride and groom a surprise cornhole set.

This wedding was a dream to photograph. Shelby did the sweetest first look with her dad and brother, and they had the cutest matching flower girls, a tiny ring bearer, and the most adorable puppy dogs as a part of the ceremony. They also had smoke bombs and did a sparkler exit. The floral arrangements featured sunflowers galore (you know my favorite color is yellow!) and the details were full of beautiful, rustic elements. They even had a classic red truck, and it looked great! I love the photos of the couple sneaking a kiss in the truck. Just perfect!
