Happy Thanksgiving! | Elizabeth Henson Photos

Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m currently Editing an exciting family session, but I wanted to make sure I posted on Turkey Day!!   Happy Thanksgiving to my wonderful family and friends everywhere!

I’m thankful for so many things, it seems impossible to put them all into words.   I will try and condense it to the biggest things I am thankful for.

-I am thankful for my first thanksgiving with my husband!  He is the best thing in my life and he supports me being the super busy woman that I am.   I stink at the typical wifey duties like cooking and cleaning, and he still puts up with me.   He picks me up when I’m down or stressed, and he makes me laugh every day.   I’m so thankful for my husband.

-I am thankful for the most perfect, amazing parents.  Our family is small in size, but big in love.  I would not be who I am today if they had not put their lives on hold to raise two kids.  Everything was about my brother and I and they made huge sacrifices for us.   I didn’t know that was rare until I became a teacher.   I’m thankful for my mom and dad.

-I’m thankful for ALL of my family, Mark’s parents and sisters, and of course my Aunt Jo and her friend Judy who is now like family too.   I always wanted sisters, and now I have two and a nephew!

-I am thankful for my dog Kaylee, and yes Mark’s dog Puck too.   I know that sounds crazy, but all the dog lovers out there get it.   My best friend Lizzie lost her dog this past week, I cry just thinking about her pain.   My dogs have my heart 🙂

-I’m thankful for a good job that has days that are really rewarding.  Yesterday I saw two of my alumni who came back to visit.

-I’m thankful for my love for art, and my new photography passion.   I can’t get enough.  It is so refreshing and inspiring to love something so much that I literally have to pry myself away from the computer trying to learn more every minute!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!!    Here are a few pictures of stuff I’m thankful for!!
