I have been looking forward to Elizabeth and Josh’s wedding day since Elizabeth and I met last year. She has been so much fun to work with, I knew that their wedding would be a dream. I was right! This wedding featured just a few of my favorite things: a family heirloom, the cutest doggies, and big smiles from everyone all day. After being together for nine years and knowing each other for even longer, Josh & Elizabeth’s wedding day was full of love and happiness.

This blush and blue wedding was at Josh’s family home in Virginia Beach. It provided a beautiful backdrop for the entire day. Some of my favorite details included an heirloom pin on Elizabeth’s bouquet from her granddaddy, a necklace she borrowed from Josh’s mom’s, and the confetti their family and friends threw as they walked down the aisle after the ceremony. They even had a surprise officiant when one of the groomsmen stepped up to lead the ceremony. I loved it all!

I got to work with some of my favorite Hampton Roads vendors this weekend. The florals were stunning and designed by Kathy Forrest of Kathy Forrest Design. There were big, beautiful white and pink roses and hydrangeas throughout. The wedding arch featuring some gorgeous greenery, too. Roger with Astro Entertainment, Jill Brown of Sunkissed Events, and One Story Films all knocked it out of the park for Josh and Elizabeth.
