After many hours of youtube, brushing up my photoshop skills, I practiced lots of editing with the colors.   I think I went through a phase where I over did it.   I loved the “vintage” look, but I think I quickly moved on from that.  However, I still enjoy these pics and reflecting on some of my progress.

I did get a few great shots early on, but some of them were luck, then mixed with my new masking skills.  Love the masking tool, don’t know how I survived with out it with all those years of photoshop.

Then I upgraded to my 50mm.  I LOVE it!!  The wider aperture allows me the bokeh images that I love so much.   I saw instant improvement, and I no longer need to do anything crazy with the editing.   bye bye vintage and hello beautiful natural light!
