Mentoring with Sharon Elizabeth Photography & New Edits

Sharon from Sharon Elizabeth Photography is one of my favorite people ever…. for so many reasons.  But mostly because I love her sweet soul as much as I love her work.  I can’t even remember how I found Sharon’s site when I first started, but her work has always been above and beyond in my eyes…. more than a great photographer, an artist, an ambassador of the industry.

I could go on an on about Sharon and how inspiring she is to me… but being my second time mentoring with her I was so impressed with how great of a TEACHER she is.   I was curious if my 2nd year experience would be as great as the first, but it was even better.   She totally customized the lesson to what I needed and the NEW ME, not the me that she taught a year ago.   A true teacher.    I learned so much!

I went into the mentoring session HUNGRY for editing skills.  I really wanted to take my work to another level.   And we did!!  I’m so excited to continue to evolve my style and simply have more control over colors and edits in general.   YAY!!!!

I’m still practicing and learning, but I took some of my favorite images from my FIRST styled shoot in 2014 (feels like forever ago sometimes)  and re-edited a few of them 🙂   I still adore this shoot so it is exciting to see the images look a little more true to my current style.   You can see the original post for this shoot and all the amazing vendors involved here.

Yes she wears glasses like this, and I love her for it!   I was laughing from the moment I got to our session!
