I’m so excited to introduce the girls helping me this year!    Last year I decided I wanted to keep my 2nd shooters consistent.  It was one of the best decisions I made in 2015.   It is important to me that brides and clients know what to expect and feel like my helpers fit right into their day.   It is also much easier on me if my assistants and 2nd shooters have worked with me many times, rather than someone new each time.   It makes the wedding day smoother and we get to build relationships in the process.   I love mentoring and helping other photographers grow, and it works best for my business to have the consistency.   Not only do we perform better, but my clients get the best possible service.   I’m really excited to introduce you to my awesome team this year!   We are bigger, better, and ready to crush this years goals and spoil some sweet couples!

Heidi Calma:  Lead 2nd Shooter and Associate

Heidi shot almost all of my weddings with me last year!   By the end of the season we could shoot the whole wedding hardly talking….. well it was more like we had our own language.   Heidi is so different from me yet we compliment each other so well.  It really works!!   She has this ability to see light and analyze every situation in a very factual and literal way.   She sees things that I don’t see but also knows what I expect.   I met Heidi two years ago, and I have seen her entire growth as a photographer.   She’s amazing and has really found her niche.    She’s now focusing on families and her style is so unique!

Heidi is an outdoor junkie who loves to bike, swim, and run.   I secretly love all her pictures in her bike shorts and helmet LOL.       Heidi has just a little hippy in her and I love it 🙂

Mai Williams:  2nd Shooter

Mai shot one wedding with me last year and I loved her ability to walk around and take group shots of guests.   She had no fear, and rocked the job even though she hardly knew me!   I’m so excited to work with her some more!    Sadly, Mai will actually be leaving us this summer.   By the time we found this out I was already totally attached to my little nugget.   So I’m keeping her until she leaves me.  I know she is going to rock the photography industry when she gets to Memphis.

When Mai is not working she’s hanging out with her dog Tyson. She loves to shop at Loft and Nine West because they fit her tiny feet.   If you ask Mai her most embarrassing moment she will tell you “I don’t even know what I’m saying in English, so embarrassing”….   seriously Mai is so cute!  Give yourself more credit woman!  You are doing great!

Heaven Blunt:  2nd Shooter

Heaven shot a last-minute wedding with me last year.  I was hooked on her sweet demeanor and her willingness to help.   Heaven will be taking over Mai’s role when Mai leaves us.  I’m thrilled to have her and can’t wait to see her grow with us!   She has the longest commute, but that shows her dedication to the job and her determination to learn.

Heaven is incredibly dedicated to her family and loves her grandma’s banana pudding…. yum!   OMG and she has known her husband since elementary school, she says they fell in love gradually; that’s pretty darn amazing.    A fellow Target lover, with the ability to laugh at herself, Heaven is such a sweetheart and I can’t wait to share my love of weddings with her!

Melody Agnew:  Intern & Virtual Assistant

Melody is a one-of-a-kind sweetheart!   She knows how to share a good laugh and doesn’t take life to seriously.  When she’s not taking pictures she enjoys watching Youtube and trying to learn more!  I can definitely appreciate that.   I can’t wait to get to know Melody, share more laughs, and watch her learn tons and tons this year as our intern.   Melody is also helping me out behind the scenes and she’s already gone above and beyond.  I’m so pumped to have her!

Oh and she has TWO cakes for her birthday every year….  Yum… I think i will be hanging out with her on her birthday so that I can taste!
