Brianne & Sam had a beautiful and organic wedding in the woods at the adorable Inn at Tabb’s Creek located in Mathews, VA.  The parents of the groom reside next door to the Inn, so the ceremony was held in their backyard and the reception took place on the water at the beautiful Bed & Breakfast.  I knew right away the location was going to be a photographer’s dream!  The colors happened to be my favorite!  There were so many adorable DIY touches, and Sam even built the beautiful doorway in the woods himself.   It was the perfect entrance for his beautiful bride!

There was plenty of time for romantic portraits in the woods; we took full advantage of it.  We even took a few photos on the dock at sunset.   I couldn’t get enough of these two and their sweet old fashioned love!   Both graduates of VCU, Brianne and Sam met through a mutual friend.  There was so much support, love, and happy tears from everyone there.   The crowd at this wedding was so full of energy, and there were some pretty awesome dancers at the reception!   It was the perfect mix of outdoor fun with plenty of classy romance.

Brianne found me through a past bride (thank you Brittany).  I’m incredibly honored she picked me to capture her perfectly styled DIY wedding.   I really enjoyed getting to know these two from their engagement session in Richmond to their special day in Mathews, VA.  I couldn’t have hand-picked a better couple!
