Brittany & Jason were married at the beautiful Whalehead Club in Corolla North Carolina. I LOVE it there! I have been dying to shoot a wedding there…. what a treat!!! Brittany’s adorable details with splashes of purple and DIY touches were just perfect for their Outer Banks Wedding. It had a classy but laid back atmosphere and she was a drop dead gorgeous bride! I really loved hanging out with Brittany and her friends and family. They really made Heidi and I feel perfectly at home. They shared their Duck Donuts with us and were just the sweetest people ever!
This was one of my favorite organic and outdoor wedding ceremonies yet! Brittany’s adorable grandparents walked her down the aisle, it was hard not to tear up. After the ceremony they released two dozen monarch butterflies! It was so fun to watch and one hopped on Brittany’s dress. Her neighbor brought the fun red old-school El Camino that we used for some of the portraits! Brittany sewed a small piece of her late step dad’s shirt under her dress and there was a special song for him at the reception. This was a beautiful day… You would never know it but a crazy storm hit during the reception. Brittany did not skip a beat, and it was over as fast as it came! Really, it just kept things exciting that’s all 🙂
Brittany and Jason fell in love fast and hard! They knew they were meant to be and it truly showed. I LOVE how happy they are together and how truly simple their love is. Brittany has the kindest heart that matches her natural beauty. I’m SOOO honored to be their wedding photographer and I kinda hope I can keep them forever! 🙂
