I had such a great weekend with family and friends. I had some of my favorite girl friends in town, I really kicked back and soaked in the weekend, it even leaked into Monday. It was great. I put work aside for the most part and enjoyed some hubby time, I even rode around on the golf cart with him.
But late Sunday I started getting the itch… I was excited for the week to begin…. wait, is that possible? I was EXCITED to get back to work. I have had so much going on in my little business I didn’t even realize how in love I am with what I’m doing. I can’t believe how far I have come in less than a year, and I can’t believe my work is actually good enough to be PUBLISHED….. THREE times coming up in the future. Some one pinch me!
Crazy things are happening, all because one day I decided to chase a dream. When I picked up my camera I really didn’t even know where I was going, and I’m still trying to figure all that out!
Everyone keeps asking the question… “Will you go full time?” I really don’t know. I love teaching, I love art, and I love my family at OL. I do feel like full time is a dream of mine, but I’m not there yet. I do know that there is something really fulfilling about focusing on a passion, letting it consume you, letting yourself invest money in it, and letting your heart drive your success. What can I say, I get it from my mama!
If you have a dream, just chase it, enjoy the journey. Who cares if its big or small, or maybe you don’t even know how the dream ends. Do something you love and let it drive you!
