A wedding on a Monday is not a very common thing.  However when you hear WHY Katelyn and Kyle got married on Monday August 22, you heart will melt.   So on August 22nd Katelyn’s parents celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.   AND Katelyn’s grandparents celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary!!   So August 22nd has very special love story history in her family.   The whole concept is so special and unique.  The entire family was so kind, I would get goose bumps talking to her sweet grandparents and seeing how in love they still are!  I know they are all so proud of Katelyn and Kyle.   Katelyn… oh my goodness, how can one person be so beautiful AND kind!!!  She’s so sweet with this big ol heart to go with her old soul.    And I let me tell you, Monday was no exception for a good time!  They had a huge crowed of family and friends there for the big day!

Katelyn and Kyle said “I do” at the Virginia Beach Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).   With a perfect combination of modern DIY and vintage details it was such a great wedding!   Katelyn used so many of her creative talents!   The table cards were hand painted, as well as the seating arrangements, and so many other details.   Everywhere I looked I could see their special creative touch… and having her parents and grandparents wedding albums there!  OMG!   So fun to look through those!   Katelyn & Kyle had a sweet first look on the bridge, with plenty of time for romantics.  It truly was a very special day and I’m so honored to be their photographer.   This blog is a big one, but so worth all the scrolling!!!
