Awe Katie & Landon……  This couple has really made their way into my heart!   I shot their engagements back in 2014, and then their elopement a year ago.   This power couple met at a wedding of their best friends were Landon was the best man and Katie was the maid of honor.  How cool is that!?   The rest has been history.   Landon can make an entire room laugh or feel really awkward; and Katie’s heart is as big as this planet.   I’m not sure I have ever had a client so kind and appreciative….  she goes above and beyond when really I’m the one thanking my lucky stars that we crossed paths!

They have faced the craziest adversity and handle it with a smile and positive attitude.   First they had Landon’s surgery and then baby Logan decided to come into the world at 24 weeks.  I LOVE all the ways that they incorporated Logan into their special Vow Renewal.   Katie had one of his first shirts sewn into her wedding dress.  She surprised everyone including Landon with that special detail.    Then they had a special dance where they face-timed with Logan.   Watching Katie sing to him was priceless…. I could seriously feel the love in the room.   Logan is such a big boy now and he’s working so hard to get healthy every day.   I keep up with Logan’s updates online;  and I absolutely adore their entire family!

This wedding will tug at your heart strings with baby Logan and a pretty emotional mother son dance too!   The details are beautiful and unique and the wild flower bouquets were a huge hit!! Make sure you check out the donut cake and their adorable smashing of the first bite 🙂    This will be one of my favorites for a long time.
