Getting a room ready for a baby when you don’t know the sex is a challenge. We decided to just paint a neutral color (we went with “old map” and I love it) and then when the baby comes we will add a border and do all the accents and decor. So the room is not ready by any means but it is functional. I will share more pictures of the color and all that when it is done!
Well when I did Gracie’s room I made all most of her wall decor by hand, so I wanted to do some of that for this baby too. I came across this amazing idea on Pinterest to use old greeting cards to make art! So smart! I never know what to do with old cards, but of course hate getting rid of them. So I made some gender neutral fun that can still be incorporated when the room is finished.
I used my new Silhouette Cameo to cut the cards but you can totally just buy a hexagon cutter (or any shape really). I used scrapbook paper for the background. The quote was also scrapbook paper and I just threw a few hexagons on that one to tie them together. Was SO simple!
And here’s the big sister just because she’s cute 🙂
