Hi friends!

I have been a little M.I.A. this week because it was technically supposed to be my vacation week.  We were going to take our annual trip to topsail, but decided to have my parents come here to VB instead.

It is funny when you are a work-from-home business owner; so much of your business is run by social media and when you aren’t able to work you feel like everyone is going to notice…. like people are waiting for my posts or something LOL.   I mean my real brain knows that this is not the case, but my business brain is always acting like it is.   I know I’m not alone on this right?   hehe.

Anyway, I still worked a little bit, but I mostly spent time with the fam!  We took Gracie to the beach twice, and the aquarium, and I watched two movies in one week!   It has been fun, and refreshing, and I’m excited to jump back into work.

Last week we did a little photo swap with my pal Erin Ammons.   I’m excited to share some of our family pictures on the blog because y’all know I’m hardly ever in front of the camera with Gracie!  It makes my heart so happy to see the three of us all together 🙂   Thank you Erin!!!!    I only take limited family sessions, so I have trusted this girl with some of my favorite clients!  She is doing amazing things in the family photography world, and I’m so thrilled to be by her side!
