I’m so excited! It is summer time, and school is out! This means I get to spend a little more time learning, practicing, and improving my photography. When I first picked up the camera I felt like I was learning SO fast! It didn’t even take much work and I was just naturally learning every time I practiced. Then as my business became busy, and my skills improved, I saw my “learning” start to slow down a bit with the busy whirlwind of everything. So now I can take a breath, and make sure that each time I pick up my camera this summer I’m learning something. I don’t have any major goals for how “big” I want my business to get but I do know that I never want to stop improving.
Here are a few of my goals for this summer
-I hope to give my branding a little face lift, nothing crazy, you know I love my yellow and green branding colors 🙂
-Do my first small workshop for anyone who wants to practice with their DSLR (I’m thinking the first weekend in August)
-Open an Etsy shop for digital downloads of more artistic/creative/macro shots
-Blog MORE, and blog about what I’m learning!
-Oh yeah, and I guess at some point I have to nail down a “specialty” we’ll see …. I’m still figuring that one out <3
Here are some of my favorite images from the past week despite the crazy weather and busyness of graduation.
Oh yes and a big THANK YOU to all of my clients!! I have been overwhelmed with kind words, referrals, and inquiries thanks to all of you….word of mouth is seriously the best marketing and brings me more of the best clients. I’m soooooo grateful for the support and kind words <3
