Maybe it is my creative side, but I would like to think in some weird say I like DIY because it “means” more.    Ever since I was little I always made things for people as much as possible vs buying stuff.   It has just always been fun for me and I love knowing that I put that little extra effort and thought into it.   DIY details have a little bit more “me” in them.

So as I have been bringing the styled shoot from friday to a conclusion I was thinking about things I could blog about even though I can’t share photos yet.   (torture I know!)

Well when I put together goody bags for the photograhpers it was only natural that I did a little of my DIY crazyness.    I went on Etsy, bought some supplies, and had a blast putting them together.    A little fun with some tape in my branding colors, some stamps, and I even ended up making magnets.

I’m a huge believer in gratitude, and I love Wallace D. Wattles perspective on gratitude and running a business.    So somehow making these little goody bags I ended up making magnets that say “Thanks for everything”  when my original intention was to make a ton of stuff with my logo on it.     Who cares about my logo…… a daily reminder to be grateful, now that is good stuff if you ask me.

So today as I look at my own magnet I figured I would take a minute on the blog to thank everyone again for such a great styled shoot Friday!    Here is what you can look forward to while  we have to wait to share the actual images:
