This Williamsburg Wedding is kinda knocking my socks off! Did I REALLY take some of these images? Well, Brittany’s beauty and classy style definitely gets ALL the credit for these pictures. This wedding is so special to me because Brittany & TJ found me through TJ’s mother Teresa. When my husband was coaching in Farmville, Teresa and her husband Wes took such good care of him. They basically adopted him. Mark and I were apart that year while we were engaged and knowing that he had such amazing people with him really put me at ease. I grew to love Wes and Teresa so much! So naturally when Brittany contacted me about capturing their wedding I just KNEW I was going to love Brittany and TJ too! It was such a special connection and that’s exactly what I love about this job!
Brittany & TJ are such an incredible couple. This wedding was BIG, like 260 guests there to support them! I was so impressed with all the love in the air. Brittany and TJ had the most perfect and rehearsed first dance, it was so cool. They snuck away for a quick practice, and then they entertained the guests with an awesome dance! They have some serious dance moves, and you could just see how much TJ adores Brittany with every moment. Every time I turned around he was focused on her, he helped her with her bustle, and helped her get her shoes on… seriously just adorable and sweet.
Speaking of Sweet….here is a little bit about their love story! It began in 1994 when the lived up the street from each other. They attended the same schools and finally started dating in high school. Brittany was a cheerleader and TJ on the football team…. does it get anymore perfect? They went to different colleges…. TJ to W&M to play football and Brittany cheered at VCU. They both graduated May of 2013 and in that same month were engaged on the shores of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. TJ is now a financial advisor with Davenport and Company and Brittany works on a research project as a registered nurse at The College of William and Mary. Williamsburg couldn’t have been a more beautiful and special setting for these two! I’m truly honored to be their wedding photographer!
